This is okay. Flip the colors of your undershirt and your sweater.

It's such a basic technique I don't know how people don't realize this instinctively. The lowest part of you should be the darkest, and the parts of you that are higher up should be darker. This way it's as though you're slender and casting a shadow down onto yourself to make yourself seem taller and more consistent with everything else you wear. The undershirt part of you should always be brighter as well no matter what; you wouldn't wear a suit that was white on the outside and black on the inside for example.
