I'm rather interested what black tie events Raphael attends. Not sure how common those are in America, but here in Europe I wouldn't know any event that normies attend where black tie or white tie is appropriate or demanded. Might be okay for a concert, but even there you'd appear dressed up when other people wear jeans and a sport coat or even just pants and a sweater. It seems to be a thing of the elite here.

Maybe it's because I'm also thin, but I don't think Preston is that bad. The other guys are actually fat, and that's why Preston looks so relatively small.

Gentleman's Gazette has this rule about "balancing out your features" by wearing certain clothes in certain styles, which I think plays into the suits (near former) role as a uniform, and GG tends to be opposed to the modern slim fit trend. Personally, I'm interested in what the opposite approach would look like, wearing clothes that exaggerate your features instead of balancing them out, like wearing spear collars when you're thin faced, and wide lapels and ties if you're broad shouldered. I think it would be cool to see that sort of wild difference that's so exaggerated it's almost stylized and cartoonish.
