>cab smell
Back in the days, it was common for cabbies in my country to use some kind of orange air freshener, and the combination of it, the dust and material seats gave them this distinct smell, which I often get reminded of when smelling perfumes with orange notes. It just takes me back to that w124 with woody accents in the interior and it quite puts me off

Its really hard to judge how people react to fragrances. I think all the Bianchis I tried are very sensual, comfy scents. But my family all think theyre super overwhelming and pushy. Whereas I never got a negative comment from them for wearing stuff the internet thinks is risky, like Kouros, Sohan or Irisch Moos.

Btw, I suggest to give Eros another try anons. I fell for the meme and thought it was too feminine from memory but never tested it again. It is actually very snice, like a sweet cool water on my skin.

It’s certainly unique, a hefty booze/patchouli/tobacco with a smokey plasticky vibe. But it’s one of my least favorites from the house. The opening is nice but something in the dry down reminds me of mesquite bbq chips. People compare it to T Rex, but they are very different in my mind

Also tried His majesty the Oud which is a sweet feminine mess and Swiss Arabians Shagaf oud abjad, which is weirdly spicy up close but I get fantastic sniffs from it wearing it. But none of them even went in the same direction as Sohan. Im trying the Bulgari tea frag next since one anon here is hyping it, any other recs?

I need a sort of casual scent for warmer weather that can be used for clubbing/partying as well as a regular pub night.
Basically a night out fragrance.
Something easy going, easy to like but not overpowering.
My staple do-everything summer scent is L‘eau D‘Issey. But for casual and clubbing stuff, it’s too serious/classic. I need something more fun.
Versace Eros smells too focused on only fistpump-esque clubbing and the sweetness is too „top-heavy“/overpowering.
I’m also not the kind of guy for people-pleaser blue scents. I hate Sauvage and I semi-like Dylan Blue, but it’s not right for me.
I like Invictus and I’ve used it for quite some time for this purpose, but it smells a bit too generic and synthetic. It’s also too much of a „mans fragrance“ (probably shower-gel-ish?). L‘eau D‘Issey for example smells classic and manly as well but in a different way that’s more down my alley.

Corona was released by the MSS to ruin western economies and to prevent Trump's reelection as payback for US backing the free Hong Kong protesters.
The virus coming from a wet market and the videos of Chinese dying in the streets from the virus was a massive psyop to convince westerners than the virus hurt China as well.
It's already been established that the virus was either made or altered in a lab, and it's public knowledge that China shut down internal travel while allowing their citizens to travel internationally, thereby spreading the virus.
Now the Chinese are set to overtake the US economy and they have their boy in the WH. Remember how the media whined in 2016 about Trump completely divesting his assets to prevent a conflict of interest? Yet no one seems bothered that Biden's family is still making billions with their Chinese investments?

What is the logic of the after shaves?
Should I use the after shave and then wear a fragrance of the same line? So one needs multiple aftershaves? Do one fucks up with the other?
Atm I use a shit 5 bucks after shave just to not get my skin irritated, then I wash it away because it smells like sadness.
I would buy a nice designer after shave but heck no I'l buy multiple expensive aftershaves.
What the heck should I do

>> No.15976584

Just use a generic aftershave cream when you've shaved. I use a Nivea one and have for years. It works fine for me.

We're talking about perfumes here (which we inexplicably call "aftershave" in the UK). You absolutely shouldn't apply a perfume to your neck after shaving unless you want it to sting like an absolute bastard.

I rarely spray perfume on my next, more like my wrists and the top of my chest.

Difference between EdT and EdP?

EdP has a higher percentage of perfume in it, generally projects less and lasts longer.

>> No.15976723

by definition it's just concentration. EdT will be weaker than EdP.

In practice, though, the formulas will be slightly tweaked to make the EdP richer and give it more depth, while the EdT will be brighter. This is also related to the physics of how different aromachemicals evaporate at different rates.

If you use things like the Nivea or pretty much any post-shave cream they won’t have any alcohol in at all. Perfumes have significantly more and it’s bad for your face in general, and much worse when you’ve got small cuts on your skin. You might have cuts you can’t even see but you’ll know about them very quickly when you put alcohol on them.

ive kind of quit sampling as much as i used to. buy $100 or so, might find one id like, and might not at all, and them I'm down 100, and still have to buy a bottle. I'm looking for full bottle stuff, not the experience, or smelling something new, theres just so many bland forgettable scents, even highly touted well regarded perfumes are very hit and miss for me. Its all so personal, i have to be sold on something before i order a sample. Theres a really cheap sample set thats been shilled lately, Jacques Fath, but fuck, i troll through the reviews and it seems positively banal and prosaic, maybe one or two id like, why should I have 10+ plus I know I wont? For the experience? no thanks, I dont think I'm missing anything. I have a pretty good idea what i like anyway, I have probally 4 on my list of wants, maybe after I buy those 4, Ill sample some new stuff, or maybe not.

If you're buying 20+ samples each, and can't find things you like, I think you should accept the limitations of perfumery and settle to some degree on what you can still reasonably enjoy. How many full bottles do you already have, and how many more do you want other than those desired 4? I too, being new, have to balance things that are worth experiencing or becoming familiar with, and things I think I'll actually like.

day 1: top 10 winter fragrances
day 2: top 10 compliment getters
day 3: top 10 of all time

I swear this is all Jeremy does, and everything he says contradicts something he said in a previous video.
