I already have. If you went to my instagram you would see fits like my crepe sole Red Wing boots with cuffed raw Japanese denim, and a Pendleton flannel layered over a starched white t shirt. You might see fits like mine, but I bring it together with curated accessories such as a full grain leather belt with a patinated vintage belt buckle and a Hamilton field mechanical watch on an OD NATO strap.

I just got Solovair 8 eyelet derby boots because some guy on youtube said the materials were pretty good.

I tried to get a military mirror shine on them but it's taking more work than anticipated.

Guys, don't do this. Boots are like high heels for women, but just more robust. Don't do this to your feet, and if you do, only wear them as much as needed then change over to a better shoe for foot health.

Toe box is wide and tall but the length is true to size. They are available in half sizes. I have a narrow foot but the instep is nicely contoured.

If I were to buy boots again I would get the 6 eye brogue boot as pictured.

Bros I have a problem. I got a nice pair of solovairs for christmas, really like them. But on the right foot, at the bottom of the tongue where it's sewed onto the vamp, that line of stitching is fairly tight and uncomfortable, it really digs into my foot. Do you reckon that's something that will loosen up as the boot breaks in or should I try to go a half size up before I wear them any more?

looking for a boot that would go with the coat in picrel in some casual fits. of what i currently own, i would only consider wearing my black MIE docs and a dark brown pair of Allen Edmonds higgins mill (rather not wear brown shoes with black). so i’m looking for a black leather boot that’s not combat/milsurp or too high-fashion
