dont adjust the day/date from 9-3am/pm (when the day/date wheels are engaged). If you want to adjust during that time, you have to move the hands out of that zone 1st
dont adjust the time backwards, it'll put a lot of stress on the movement. (true for many mechanicals). But you can nudge it a bit backwards to "hack" the 7s26 and make the seconds hand stop
and of course the rest of the usual mechanical watch stuff applies

seiko and orient have the magic lever system so winding is very efficient (but a bit noisy/rattley)
if it dies before the next day means you are not moving enough
if you are starting the watch from a dead state you can shake it gently side to side to put some juice into it before you start to set the time

Plastic is more shock resistant so it'll just scratch, not shatter. Although sapphire is really hard so if something does shatter your sapphire crystal it is likely to also severely injure you, so your watch won't be your biggest concern. And such an impact may not shatter a plastic crystal but would deform or gore it.

Nay, imo. I own the same watch but in gray and with regular display, and while it's okay, I never wear it. The bracelet sucks, it's worse than the one in the Casio a158. The links are smaller and the bracelet is overall less flexible so it doesn't adapt to the shape of the wrist, and it pinches your skin and arm hairs every now and then.

No, fuck every mechaquartz with that 24 hour subdial, it looks like shit, it's pointless. Mechaquartz movements suck anyways, the chrono seconds hand becomes misaligned over time. Yema has dogshit quality control and bad customer service.
Get this instead, temperature compensated high accuracy quartz movement. Chronometer grade it just doesn't have the certification.
