Show pictures where it pivots. Personally I would go ahead and superglue it but in a way where you can't notice. Like apply some to a toothpick and use that to apply it onto the glasses or if you get some very viscous glue I would put some in a diabetic syringe for extra precision. Almost half of my collection is vintage stuff that's over 20 years old and sometimes stuff need some glue. I have a pair of spalding cycling glasses that broke because I didn't want to compromise the ''originality'' of them with superlgue and so one of the temples(arms) broke off. I know better now.

Those are pretty sweet. Look into getting some of these. They will help you avoid having them fall of your face and breaking. I have a set like this in black. I use one of each kind. The hooks and round holders are best on glasses that have long enough temples while the long flat ones are best for my 2 pairs that are a little shorter.

Yes, but Oliver Peoples isn't covered by most insurance programs, and I don't feel like dropping 700 on frames and lenses out of pocket if I don't have to

I would look into persol. They're the only luxottica brand that I feel is worth money for their classic frames. You can also look into oakley latch, idk if they come into toiseshell but oakley can't be beat for polarized lenses with their prizm technology.

The TF I also copped are comparable in size. They are 53mm lenses compared to the 51mm in the Kuboraums. If I remember right wayfarers are 50mm but I don’t have a pair.

I want to get some glasses like the Carrera autist but I don't want Carreras because of the associations I have in my head of the brand. What are some brands I could look into that haven't been mentioned in this thread?

just casual use/driving. I have a pair of blades with the dark golf lens and targetlines with the golf lens, neither of which are nearly dark enough for driving to work on a sunny as fuck day. I like the regular sutro, too, and hopefully I don't regret getting the lite, it just reminded me more of the old school blades with it being a half frame rather than a full frame
