Are there any currently produced sport quartz watches that are good quality? I found having more than 1 mechanical watch is annoying cause I don't really enjoy setting the time. Dan Henry was kinda an impulse buy and while it's good looking and not having to set the time is so convinient, I'd say the finishing and general quality is only on par for it's price. I wish Omega would make a 38mm aqua terra with the same updated specs as now except with a quartz movement.

The only way to understand how valuable or not any manufacturer's water resistance rating is is to carefully read the warranty and be sure that they will repair any damages caused to the watch while it is being used within it's water rating. They managed to find a way to run electricity through a rock to make it vibrate exactly 36000 times a second and to then measure that and have it advance a second hand by one tick.
