i'm considering finesteride. It's a hair loss drug that reduces the body's conversion of testosterone into DHT, which builds up in the scalp and causes hair loss in men. DHT can also cause skin problems.

yeah, unfortunately restricting heavily will only exacerbate this. your body just isnt used to it anymore. my lw was 42kg at 165cm and when i was restricting the heaviest and as like constantly aware and controlling of my caloric intake, my binges were at their most absolute insane, too. like, eating whatever i was craving to the point of being sick, dizzy spells, and throwing up.

as someone whos kind of been in same boat - it's a whole lot easier to lose and/or maintain weight when it's not in your head looming over you all day. the cravings and the binging wont be as much of a problem if you eat semi-regularly now and then wean your way back down. sorry you're having a hard time bro & i wish u luck

If you can resist it, I'd say you're better off not having any sweet zero-calorie foods/drinks. They won't really hinder your weightloss, but with most artificial sweeteners (aspartame etc etc.) you'll still have an insulin spike. The main reason not to eat them though is that you'll keep feeding your sweet tooth, and thus binge-bait yourself. If you're vigilant and avoid anything sweet- as well as trying to limit your fast carbohydrates (spoiler! to your body its all just sugar)- your sugar-cravings will disappear within a week or so. Protein should be your main thing, not only does it keep you from losing muscle when cutting, but will also curb your appetite overall.

Even on a calorie deficit diet, you'll have to drop your calories much greater if you're on a high sugar diet as opposed to high fat.protein. With the right food you will not need to drop calories so low as to feel constantly hungry, reduce your rate of success and be healthier all at the same time as losing weight.

Tfw I'm 5'4, 105lbs and I really want to get lower. My record was 94 lbs a year ago, but I only achieved that due to caffeine addiction and fasting for a week. I can try the same method again, but I usually drank a can of energy drink, Matcha Tea, and Black Coffee. Usually a liter of coffee desu. Running and doing Jump Rope also helped daily. Sleeping a lot and keeping your mind distracted also keeps you away from thinking about eating.

I'm just going to add smoking to this habit. Once I get off of the fast after a week, I'll go onto a extremely low carb Pescetarian diet. Which is my usual diet.

My scale is slightly physically broken. A small part of one of the sensors on the back came off, and the number changes depending on what tile I weigh on. Can't buy a new one right now.
I know I can't fully trust the numbers, but do they work as an approximation? Like a ballet dancer with stronger quads/calves and forearm development.

Biggest issue is finding foods I can eat regularly without too many carbohydrates, sufficient nutrients, and versatility. I usually eat foods like eggs, turkey, cottage cheese/Greek yoghurt, and so on. No matter what I eat, I always have nausea and maintain around 158-162lb (72-73kg). I've been as low as 150lb before, but it's not easy to maintain. I've found that things like spinach/almond milk shakes are easy to mix up and don't make me sick, but all I can really mix into them is fruit (high sugar), protein powders, and spices. Having a diet based on spinach shakes isn't versatile or really feasible if I leave my home, either. What can I do?

I have much experience with dietary management, weight loss, and fasting. However, I have a sensitive stomach, and have issues with carbohydrates. I have narcolepsy, and find that increased consumption of carbohydrates both increases my hunger (insulin spiking) and increases my sleepiness. If I fast, I have other symptoms which are problematic for me. Hence why I typically like to eat fewer carbohydrates.

Losing and maintaining is something entirely different. When the diet that would 'work' for me lacks in versatility, and everything else makes me sick or fucks me up otherwise, a walk is going to do nothing.

Yeah it's overpowered when it comes to losing weight, but doing it every day isn't worth the long-term mental health effects. Getting skinny is pointless if you feel constantly feel like shit or end up gaining all the weight back during withdrawal.

Perpetual illnesses and being a recluse, mostly. My motorcycle's mirrors were also hit and shattered, so I no longer have legal transportation, and the roads where I live are not feasibly safe for bicyclists. It is extremely dangerous here; both of my dogs were already hit by cars on separate instances, and I've escaped dying by car several times. I'd also tan, and that is undesirable.

I learned this hard way. It's not just diet. You gotta actively burn those calories. Find something you can do at home? You can work from home.

I have a vyvanse script. I do intermittent fasting so I normally don't eat or feel hungry during the day anyway, but the suppressed appetite is nice to have I guess. My heart rate goes up noticeably and I feel a little warmer when I'm on it, which makes sense since it's supposed to increase your metabolism and TDEE.

I've never had Ritalin so I can't compare the two.

I do. I'm aware that physical exercise is important too, and have been working with some pole-based calisthenics as of late. Quite taxing, but it works.
