I had a gym membership and I'd still go to the gym if it wasn't such a fucking annoying process due to Covid.

Going to the gym now is:
-Have temperature taken every time you walk in.
-First come first serve, and due to limited capacity there's no telling if you can start your workout right away because Joe Schmoe is on his 20th set.
-Wearing a mask for over an hour while sweating and limited use of machines or benches because muh 6 feet apart.

This barbell is not the best, I wanted to get urethane instead of rubber but almost everything is sold out. I also have a kit for calisthenics which can be used in a lot of different ways so I'm okay with leaving the gym behind.

That's the thing, I did go to a small gym. I think max capacity is 150 people in the whole building and pre-covid there would be a good 30+ people there at any given time; not to mention it's the only gym in a 3 mile radius so everyone and their mother goes there. It's also overpriced as fuck since they're the only gym around.

The only other option is a YMCA which would always be a shitshow full of high school kids hanging out.
