something i didnt mention in my previous two posts was what really makes /fa/ smokers /fa/. If youre anywhere between the ages of 16-35 smoking objectively makes you look cooler and more attractive. It is a dangerous harmful activity that gives you a sort of "bad-boy" vibe.
A lot of the students from my uni that walk in dont smoke cigs, only vape. In this case the effect is watered down, its really just silly and lame. But lets say youre older than 35, what makes you a /fa/ smoker?

In my experience (not just at the gas station, in life) the way you comport yourself is what will make you cool or fashionable. I think everyone on this board will remember OFWGKTA's anti-style, with mismatch colors and patterns. What we liked or connected with is that it seemed they "did not care" or had disdain for established norms. That's the same reason people think "fake-skaters" or posers of any variety are so lame. Their motivation is to "be cool" instead of actually being cool as a byproduct of their identity.
This is the reason I dont like blue american spirit smokers. They 100% bought their first pack of american spirits after seeing a "soft-boy" inspo chart or something.
This is why a lot of young smokers fall short, despite it being an attractive habit. They are trying *SO* to be cool. Older smokers have something different. They have one thing in common that makes them /fa/ as fuck. THEY HATE SMOKING. Every single regular smoker has disdain for cigarettes. They are always "trying to quit." They know it is hurting their looks and health and they just cant stop. In that way they are far more genuine than young smokers. This is an internal struggle that young smokers dont have. It's less posturing. More genuine.
