Not super helpful but, this look is exactly what I am going for. I find getting simple, muted tones for basics at places such as Everlane or MUJI then going to thrift shops for accessories and coats is the way to go. Also, browsing around etsy is not a bad place either. They have allot of vintage watches that would blend in well.

Glad I'm a high magician no one knows enough about this so that the mainstream will steal/larp/ruin it. And low magick/folk magic was praticed historically by the common man who were poorer and it was way more accessible and less formulaic/strict as high magick. Cannot give a strong opinion on them once again they are folk magic/spirituality and it really depends on the type and culture. All I know is that it varies even more person to person culture from culture then let's say wicca that has more of an established belief system. There is already a huge difference between practices in Africa between tribes, hoodoo and voodoo some have more of a christian/combination and certain native American cultures may not consider themselves witch doctors but more like shamans or priest. In some parts of Mexico, Peru, and Bolivia for example they have witch doctors, shamans and differentiate between the two. When starting magick I was more drawn to the traditional and well established methods of ceremonial/high magick I preferred it to folk magic, shamanism, or witch doctor practices. Some magicians practice something called chaos magick which combines elements from many cultures and systems hence the name chaos for example native American symbols/rituals/dances and Egyptian symbols/pratices they believe that there are useful things/truths in every culture and channel energy based on what something represents to them.
