Yeah wearing a camo shirt/jacket with something under it is easy, camo pants are not so easy but still can be pulled off. But I'm honestly at the point where I don't really care what regular people think of my fits. Pic related is any easy basic idea to follow, if you want it to look even less militarized you could wear khaki pants instead. An ecru turtleneck is comfy and super versatile with basically any style, it does well to tone down any style you might think is pushing the limit of social acceptability. The busier the camo pattern the more "military" your fit will look to people, so brushstroke patterns are very versatile. If you want to feel like a madman you could try wearing loafers with camo pants.

Because of this I can tell you it is not a vietnam era pattern but a set of Rothco(or similar manufacture) BDUs. Yes, what you are posting is tiger stripe, and yes tiger stripe patterns were used in the vietnam war but the original pattern you posted IS NOT period correct and therefore should not be referred to as "vietnam era".

Again no it doesn't- take two seconds to look at both the new and Vietnam pic and they are almost identical. Also what is the combination of late 60s early 70s camera quality combined with heavier use (which leads to color drain, thus lighter colors- a problem that's been greatly reduced with more modern materials)
