Shoulder length is the cutoff for female hair imo. Anything short either makes them look like 12yo boys, dykes or just not fem anymore. Also has the wipe of "My hair was so broken I had to cut it off."

Short hair is a conspiracy pushed by hair salons, so they can sell alot of colors and dye products, with little worktime, since short hair is short, and you have to get it cut often to keep it short, double win.
Long hair on the contrary needs longer care (more manpower and some products but less) and of course you cut it rarely.
My wife has long blonde hair, she had to threaten to leave her beloved hair salon, so that they would accomodate her long hair and take only care of it, and stop proposing to cut/dye all the time. She even had to cut a deal saying she'd pay for the time and products, no problem, but stop harssing with the cut and dye stuff. Surreal.
