Tried Dodo today, like it a lot more than I did Dragonfly. It's definitely fougere-esque with the fern notes and the geranium, but I wouldn't call it a fougere. It's very fruity (lychee) and got a sea mist thing going on (ambergris). I was a bit taken aback by my first sniff but its growing on me for sure.

Bought a sample each of Bee, Rhinoceros and Hummingbird. The sample cost 3 bong for bee or 195 for a bottle. How autistic would it be if I bought 60 samples?

I am trying Invasion Barbare right now and its powderiness is interesting. It is definitely distinct from the usual powderiness from iris, and this seems to come from the cardammon + thyme combination. The vanilla and ginger make it rounder, but I still am not sure about it. But maan the ginger on the way out is satisfying.

I think I made a mistake. While I was waiting for Invasion Barbare to dry down and evolve, I decided to also do 1 tiny spray of L'Air du Desert Marrocain on my other arm. My nose is completely busted now, the instensity and projection of that one is huge, another spray and it would definitely fill the room. The fact that both are powdery doesn't help either.

Review anon here. Wearing papillon Anubis sample. 3 unsolicited compliments. Officially my most complimented frag ever. It’s basically a more wearable Lair du desert marocain. Had a banging idea for a gourmand.
Top notes of a dry, dusty cacao scent, with milky notes that are creamy to ofset the powdery dryness.
Fresh zingy lemon and a creamy vanilla mid that is subtle and not overpowering the chocolate, overpowers the milk eventually.
Then an amber/sandalwood base with a very, very faint hint of patchouli.
What do you guys think?

That being said Tauer 02 LADM is one of my favourite orientals and I would never call it less wearable than Anubis. Keep in mind that I only tested it on a paper-strip and was judging what was likely only the very opening of it for few first minutes. Maybe on your skin it works wonders idk. I remember testing Salome, too. If Zootopian Hyrax is a fecal scent, then Salome is the smell of being closed in a privy where a whole pluto of dirty and smelly soldiers had taken shits one after another.

I am very conflicted. The violet in GIT does come off a bit like gasoline, but nothing like fahrenheit. I always thought that CW was rather green, but GIT is much more so. CW feels like walking on a grassy field, while GIT feels like a humid florest.
The opening of the two is very different, but after a few minutes they start to get very similar. Green Irish Tweed is more complex, but also more timid than Cool Water.
