I'm in the same boat. My parents only give me 8,000 a month and after my apartment (NYC guy so I have to pay a lot for rent) I only have about ~3,000 dollars to myself, which usaully goes to partying.

My grandma died recently and I have a couple million in the bank, but it's really difficult to withdraw from that because I wont get a nest egg like this until my parents die. I don't really want to get a job right now, but I feel like maybe I should. Does anyone have any tips for saving money?
