Yeah, its a tough space to light because the ceiling is really low. In my defense, the pic makes the light look cooler than it actually is, and I rarely use the ceiling light anyway.

Decent.

Pros: Wood floors and furniture make it feel very warm and inviting. Plants are always a pro. Nice natural light. Tidy, but 'lived in.'

Cons: I think the slightly heavy furniture and amount of stuff makes it feel quite cramped, and doesn't seem like much thought was given to what goes with what (Rug, couch, ottomans, pillows, etc.) Ditch the clock and rearrange the plants.

Where can I buy cheap, mid-century modern (MCM) furniture near Philly?

I went to a warehouse yesterday, in Philly, that supposedly refinishes MCM furniture and sells for the cheap. However, they had dining room chairs selling for $200, when my brand new chairs from West Elm cost $175. They also had tons of Article furniture which doesn't fit the ethos of vintage pieces.

Honestly, I just want a Jens-style armchair for less than $200, and a side table that's not more than $50.

Pic related, the warehouse.

I moved because to take a new job and divorce, so had to find something for rent. Will definitely take a 3,000 SF basement apartment over regular rental bullshit.
I can't say your wrong about the couches. The one in the center is left over from my theater room in my old house (now ex-wife's house). The one against the windows is being replaced with a vintage Adrian Pearsall MCM gondola couch when it arrives in a few days. The TV is going on a full articulating wall mount tomorrow. The rest of the shit on the mantle are gaming consoles that I have no where to put. Most of my furniture is in storage in the state I moved from, and I have been too busy with work to go back and get it. Divorce is a bitch.
