Yes, but you must learn Spencerian or some other style, get decent paper and ink and of course the right pen. I have a Platinum 3776 with a golden and fine nib (allows for more flex). Also, a good pen requires good ink, and a good pen and pencil both require good paper, which should be in a high-quality notebook with a good case, not including the case in which you keep your writing utensils and their maintenance tools, all of which should be kept in a stylish bag of some variety, ideally high quality leather which matches the color of your shoes, belt, and watch strap. The color of your fountain pen's nib should also match the color of the metal on your buckles / zippers etc.

if you have some money to burn, a standard drafting pencil like the graphgear 500/1000 or the rOtring 600/800 are good buys. There's also something like the kuru toga which has a built in lead spinning action to keep it sharp, although it's kind of gimmicky. Personally, however, out of all the pens/pencils I've wasted my money on, the Norma 4 has been the coolest for frequent use. It's a vintage 4-color mechanical pencil, and although the lead for it can be difficult to find, there's one website (legendaryleadcompany) that has them in stock.
