This is how I know you aren't TIP or old money either. "Looking ugly" is not a factor, actual TIP people dress for context and social occasion. Duckboots are worn when it is wet and cold. It doesn't matter if they "look cool" or not. If you live where rich people live, you have your own little boutiques and that is where you buy your duckboots and mandatory expensive Parka from a brand that you have probably never heard of, because it is not something you will finds online on a black friday sale.

I bought that exact Cordings coat on Marrkt but returned it. It was otherwise perfect, but the collar was weird: the collar hole was much too large and the buttoning point too low, resulting in a really weird look, and the collar itself was much too flimsy and it couldn't be worn up in foul weather. Such a shame since otherwise the coat is excellent.

They have a very detailed sizing guide on their website. In my experience their contemporary fit trousers and casual pants have a decent rise given that I size up to a 35 from a 34. I have to have the waist taken in or wear braces though, wearing a belt with them causes unsightly crunching due to the waist band being a couple inches extra.

With MTM, you can set the armhole height etc. as you want, so things like that become a non-issue. You can also basically pick any cloth you want from major mills. There are some differences in the sizing algorithms mostly to do with shoulder posture, positioning of the collar relative to the shoulders etc. buit mostly the different MTM brands are similar.

I have had the best experiences with Herrainpukimo and Shirtonomy. Proper Cloth couldn't quite get my shoulder/upper back posture right . It isn't a large problem but the shirts are not as comfortable as a result.
