Yes. However, they've been TIP since at least the 70s, not the 90s.
>How would you wear them?
Just casually, with khakis or cords and a polo, oxford, chamois shirt, or flannel. My dad had a pair in the early '80s, and he says he wore them with blue jeans, lacoste polos, and a light blue Members Only jacket.
>and in what colourway?
"Maple Suede" (tan), or maybe brown. They only look good in earth tones IMO

>feel the same way about duck boots, I recognize their TIP pedigree but they are just too weird looking for me to ever consider wearing a pair.
This is how I know you aren't TIP or old money either. "Looking ugly" is not a factor, actual TIP people dress for context and social occasion. Duckboots are worn when it is wet and cold. It doesn't matter if they "look cool" or not. If you live where rich people live, you have your own little boutiques and that is where you buy your duckboots and mandatory expensive Parka from a brand that you have probably never heard of, because it is not something you will finds online on a black friday sale.

Ratio made the shirt to those specs, and the first time I had to put it in the wash it shrank and was worthless. Never touched it since. When putting in measurements, always go an inch or so up to account for shrinkage.
The shirt was good, but the collars were too large and looked weird, that was my only issue with them.

actually, they already account for shrinkage. The shirt they send you will be slightly larger than your measurements to begin with. this is the case with most mtm sites.

also, you can send back your first shirt if it doesnt fit? They even recommend you wash it several times first.

With MTM, you can set the armhole height etc. as you want, so things like that become a non-issue. You can also basically pick any cloth you want from major mills. There are some differences in the sizing algorithms mostly to do with shoulder posture, positioning of the collar relative to the shoulders etc. buit mostly the different MTM brands are similar.

I have had the best experiences with Herrainpukimo and Shirtonomy. Proper Cloth couldn't quite get my shoulder/upper back posture right . It isn't a large problem but the shirts are not as comfortable as a result.

TIP is timeless. What don't you understand about this. Timeless means it doesn't change, it means as trends come and go, TIP stays the same. Thus because it stays the same, you derive the rules from it. But first, you can't be mentally challenged, and you have to not be a retard.

Yes and no. It's a tax on foreign products, but it's not to promote buying domestic products, but to even the balance with the rest. If the US imports south african oranges, those will be much cheaper than american oranges because labor is cheaper at SA, if you place the customs tax on SA oranges, the final price will be closer to US oranges, thus balances the markets.
