Comfiest perfume ever. It's not so heavy on the sandalwood but more of a softened and slightly creamy oud rose combo.
I like to wear it at home when I'm staying in just to chill.

We went to Winter Wonderland in London with my gf. Burberry London fit the setting perfectly. Simple but wholesome stuff. Afterwards I tested CdG Copper in Dover Street Market and I must say that I'm really impressed. Vegetal bitter greenness + tobacco + aldehydes (?). Really snice fresh and unusual scent. The presentation with copper bottle is amazing. I almost pulled a trigger on it. I also tried CdG White that some anon asked about. I'm sorry but it smells just like a meek, lesser version of MDCI Fetes Persanes. Lot's of spices, quite Christmasy but ultimately blended way worse than MDCI.

I like spicy and woody notes, it can be also a little bit sweet but not too much. Nothing fresh, citrusy, fruity etc.. Tobacco and leather might be fine, I don't know, never had a frag like that.
And it should be for daily office wear, so nothing too aggressive, don't want to smell like Turkish night club.

I tried the EdP and it really wasn't for me. Way too creamy/thick vanilla with cloying spices. I've heard good things about the EdT, the site says there are way less notes than what is reported elsewhere. I'd go for the regular line unless you like something very blended

It’s bitter and among the more challenging but I found it has a tart/sweet fruit note like a Granny Smith apple. It definitely has some balls in the beginning and can be pungent but the dry down is really nice. I’m not a big fan of the aquatic green besides really pine-y cape heartache norne-y stuff. Absinth is weird enough to give me an interest in a different genre of green. The green apple is a really unique and pleasant note. Chad Layton mogs it with the red apple but if you take away Laytons apple you’re left with a Le Male flanker. Uninteresting once I made that distinction. Anyways that all sounded like cope but it’s worth a second try if you let it dry down for 30 min

Haven’t tried any of the Frapin frags, but in my opinion, Kilian is a very mixed bag. I have Black Phantom, Straight to Heaven, and Back to Black, and love them all. However, most of the their other frags that I’ve tried were very mediocre and nowhere near worth what they charge. If they were in the 120-150.00 or so range, I’d say they might be worthwhile, but at over double that, not a chance. So Kilian has a few gems, but overall aren’t amazing.

It's not a placebo. I used to wear Issey Miyake, Because I generally like the blend of stuff in it. But, it's a cheap cologne.

A good friend of mine put me onto Tom Ford. (He also had me try Bond No9, Scent of Peace. Which I cannot wear, It makes my throat scratchy, So I bought the bottle for no reason.) And, I've had a hard time switching to anything else. Plum Japanois has been my go to.

After a while, I wanted to go back to my Issey Miyake, and all I can smell on that now is the alchol. I cannot find pleasure in EDT's any more, EDP's and Parfums are much superior. You're paying more for the quality of the ingredients, the quality of the blend, and in most cases the concentration level of the parfum.

Good quality shit always has a stronger backng to it. I can easily tell the difference from EDT's and EDP/P's.

You pay for what you get. It all comes down to what you like. Sure, that bottle of bond I have is 2x as expensive as my Tom Ford, But I like the Tom Ford more. Another example is Aventus Creed. I just can't fuck with it. Even though it's some of the most expensive shit you can buy.

Quality, Sensation, and Comfort is what is most valuble in cologone.
