Whats a good casual dresscode that still shows off authority and openess? Im going to an interview where suits are a nono, but I need an outfit that represents my authoritarian personality, but I dont want to seem cold and closed.

Formal trousers and a poloshirt I guess. Or the old trousers+shirt with rolled up sleeves and top 2 buttons undone. Show the authority by shining your shoes to a mirror shine and wear a decent brown leather belt. Don't even think about socks other than dark brown (or black if you're going to wear black shoes+belt but I'd advise against that).
