I wish all companies just based their trousers sizing on the actual measurements, instead of making the number appear to be a few sizes lower.

Why shouldn't people from those places be able to work for these companies?

The idea that having production happen in developing nations is somehow morally wrong is absurd. They are not forced to work in these factories. The reality is that they do not have many work options that are more appealing. Sure, you might, but they don't. By having foreign investment they build their economy. Look at China. I would say it is likely to be a moral good to buy clothing that provides jobs to these people.

Tried like all the new Lemaire stuff at the soho store

my take on the pants: the quality actually seems okay but the fit is wild. I'm normally a 29-30, and I tried on the 29 and it felt about 4-5 sizes too big. they looked like clown pants. so size down as much as you can and they still might be too large.

my take on the rest of the collection: fit is on the tops and outwear is more standard, but quality is utter shit in general. standard Uniqlo has gotten really good and the U stuff (shirting in particular) seems awful in comparison.
