It' subtle, it's traditional, it's disciplined, it's sharp, it's easy to pull, it will look good in the eyes of ordinary people, nothing is cringy or suspicious. The whole thing recalls romantics of 1910-1930 Germany with sudents and academics unsure of the future, drinking away their traumatic war experience they were unprepared for, digging the ancient tractates for a new perspective, desperate to find a vital philosophy and meaning.

Well all of these styles I associate with people who believe themselves to be apart of the intellectual elite, so for someone to be inspired by these clothing elements and how they are photographed, and wish to replicate it in their own wardrobe surely have the same cultural touchstones that I do to make the association between the manner of dress and the demographic they represent.
