These are my reebok club c', I've had them for 3 years, 2 of those they were all weather beaters. These are the best sneakers in terms of longevity that I've ever had. I've worn them to clubs, hiking, festivals, trail riding, blizzards, salty slush and this is how they are after 3 years and minimal maintenance. The last thing I put them through was a rock festival and after cleaning off all the mud I was surprised to see they came out no worse than they went in. 3 years! My last nike beaters lasted 6 months, adidas barely a year, but these could probably go for 2-3 more years, though I have decided to retire them from being beaters. I love the wear on them, I'll only wear em for certain fits in good weather, I want to preserve them now as much as possible. If you want long lasting shoes get some Reeboks. /end autism

The problem is people don't tell you what shoe they use a baseline. Nike is half a size smaller than adidas, reebok is 1/4 of the size smaller than adidas, adidas sock sneakers feel half a size bigger than adidas classic leather shoes.
I personally wear 11 adidas leather sneakers, 11.5 for adidas with a contemporary construction, 11.5 for nikes and 11 or 11.5 depending on the reebok shoe though I tend to go 11.5. all sizes are US.
