Just got my Hirsch Wild Calf 18mm strap in the mail. Bought it to replace the strap on my Seiko snk809. Disappointed because the buckle feels like plastic, because it feels warm to the touch. I thought maybe I could put the buckle from the original Seiko snk809 strap on but no because this strap tapers so even though both straps are 18mm this Hirsch strap is narrower at the buckle. There was no info that this buckle was going to be plastic. Fucking irritated.

A busy week comes to an end for me, I finished a big project and caught a bug from a co-worker at the same time. I'm taking the rest of the week off, and in my boredom yesterday I took this shot. The upside to all of this? I was lucky enough to be selected for the Seaforth Bronze Pre-order. I made a reservation for a Fume dial as a primary and green as a secondary choice. Can't wait to get it, I have a Seforth Gen 1 with the sapphire/gilt combo and it's beautiful. Keep safe out there ladies and gents!

I had a watch with a steel bracelet once. It was terribly uncomfortable. Is it because I have small wrists? I'm thinking of either buying a really cheap bracelet watch to try or to buy something nicer and if I can't use a bracelet I'll swap it for a leather strap.
