Ye, I typically change frags twice a day. People here complain about longevity of frags but I don't give a fuck as it's quite the opposite with me. You really don't have to wear the same thing for the whole day. The same way I change my clothes after work I want to change my fragrance as well. Guerlain is particularly hated for its longevity - it lasts for about 30minutes but I love it that way - I apply as much as I want after taking a shower and can enjoy how uplifting and well blended this little fucker is and then after dressing up change the fragrance.

Thoughts on knockoff fragrances? Even with OP's links, getting a lot of samples in Europe seems difficult and the closest Sephora is like 30km away from where I live.

This house breeds masterpieces your designers don't even dream of comparing. A single whiff is enough to tell for a fragrance connoisseur like me, the quality of this houses ingredients can only be found in true niche perfumery. Try only POPULAR designer fragrances, they will be mass appealing, generally acknowledged as good and pleasant. The deeper you go, the lesser chance of finding somethng good. the "midnight" version is my secret sauce. It's a darker version of that and only been mentioned maybe 3 times ever according to the /fa/ archives. If its anything like mine its good, playful and intimate but its not loud if you're expecting that. Get compliments. By the way the OG formula isnt the removable cap so try to find one where the sprayer is just integrated and you dont have to remove anything.

To me, Musk Aoud smells nicer than Amber Aoud, but they were selling only the big bottles (100 mL) of it so I went with Amber Aoud instead. Out of the ~15 Rojas I tried, Elysium had the best opening, and its drydown smells nice too but I read bad reviews about its projection so I don't think it is worth it (?).

Note de Yuzu might be something for you. In my experience it performs quite well during hot days.
With the sour citric yuzu (which seems authentic) in the beginning follows a pleasant note of grapefruit with a gentle twist of seasalt and alga!
Out of all the coastal frags I tried during the last two months Note de Yuzu stood out to me as the one most reminiscent of the ocean. As if you were do drink a really nice glass of grapefruit juice at a wharf while the wind tenderly entwines your nose with the scent of the sea.

I own Issey Miyake L'eau d'issey pour home - decent but not aquatic enough. Also tried AdG - too mainstream. Bvlgari Aqua was decent, just wondering if there's something a little higher tier. Neroli Portofino was interesting, but faintly smelled like old lady to me.

Well, I’m mostly a nichefag and I’m not huge on aquatics. I do like the ADP blu line. Performance isn’t fantastic, but they aren’t super expensive (especially if you can get testers). I do love Creed MI, though that might be a bit expensive. Gallagher’s Amongst Waves is nice and watery, quite unique, but it’s also quite sweet and has absolutely massive projection. Might gas people out with that one. He’s also raised his prices since I got my bottle. It’s apparently 79%, so it’s strong as fuck.
