Ye, I typically change frags twice a day. People here complain about longevity of frags but I don't give a fuck as it's quite the opposite with me. You really don't have to wear the same thing for the whole day. The same way I change my clothes after work I want to change my fragrance as well. Guerlain is particularly hated for its longevity - it lasts for about 30minutes but I love it that way - I apply as much as I want after taking a shower and can enjoy how uplifting and well blended this little fucker is and then after dressing up change the fragrance.

I think Tuscan Leather and Tobacco Oud are "good ones" but I've never actually smelled either of them. Step aside Creedfags. Your designer tier freshies need not apply. The golden king, the blue beast, the silver knight. For me, it's Amouage. This house breeds masterpieces your designers don't even dream of comparing. A single whiff is enough to tell for a fragrance connoisseur like me, the quality of this houses ingredients can only be found in true niche perfumery. Fortunately for me I managed to hunt down a non magnetic pre reformulation version of JXXV. The fool didn't realize he was selling liquid gold. I haven't tried any others fragrances from the house than the three mentioned. Nobody really talks about those and the notes look weird. Attar? What's that?

Try only POPULAR designer fragrances, they will be mass appealing, generally acknowledged as good and pleasant. The deeper you go, the lesser chance of finding somethng good. Try fragrances from fcking zara, h&m (if they have), pull & bear, anything.

home again. there was finally a calming wash over me i hadn't felt in a long time. i guess i didn't fear anymore, or fear much that is. it was a sweet spring morning and i was spending it in that soft clearing, vegetal, green, serene. this valley teeming with cool vapors, the sun warming and scenting the foliage something burned and bright. i lay face first in the tall grass and i can hear the hum of earth's bounty among the stalks, watching. i was alone. in this charming solitude i slumped on my elbows and took in the april air. i noticed a figure along the way standing in the greasewood plant plucking nubs of chaparral. it looked like a man, but i couldn't be sure. i called out. "hello!" it turned but i could not make out details. "you'll be eaten," it yelled out. "you'll be eaten and you'll macerate for a thousand years!" my heart dropped and my face grew cold. a wild cackling waved across the field, something not quite human. "you'd better douse or he'll eat you!" it said a final time, its laughter lowering in pitch to something bestial.

Dollars and Scents did a video on Tuscan Leather Intense a few weeks ago and he said somebody he knew leaked out a bottle before they rolled lit with it. From the way he was describing it it sounded like it could end up smelling like Ombre Leather.

If it wasn't real it wouldn't be made into a meme in the first place. "Virgin spritz"-tier refers to frags which are put out by either masstige or sofboi upscale fragrance houses which put out all of their releases in the same shape bottle, usually either with "natural ingredients" to excuse the juice from being very weak and undetectable, or on the other hand a ridiculously nuclear projection, which encourages the Virgin to only spray a tiny amount, lest he be embarrassed for offending people with his strong fragrance. Note de Yuzu might be something for you. In my experience it performs quite well during hot days.
With the sour citric yuzu (which seems authentic) in the beginning follows a pleasant note of grapefruit with a gentle twist of seasalt and alga!
Out of all the coastal frags I tried during the last two months Note de Yuzu stood out to me as the one most reminiscent of the ocean. As if you were do drink a really nice glass of grapefruit juice at a wharf while the wind tenderly entwines your nose with the scent of the sea.

Damn this thread devolved quickly.

Im not even sure what the point of /fg/ is, you neverget any actual recs, just a bunch of memes and shitty responses besides the 2 or 3 people that actually contribute. Anyone here would unironically be better off getting advice from the person behind the counter at Nordstrom.

Like I said here: >>14371022 that’s 4chan now. We don’t have content, we just shitpost. There’s no actual information or discussion, it’s just noise. I’m an oldfag, I remember when we actually had content, and I try to contribute as much as I can, but there’s only so much I can do. We need more contributors, unfortunately we have a few dipshits who like to derail our threads, too many idiots who can’t see the obvious bait and ignore it, and retards who think memes are real life and regurgitate them like they’re gospel.

Wasn’t like this a couple years back, these threads used to be pretty chill and helpful. We do still get threads from time to time that are good, but most of the time, it’s 90% shitposting. Ultimately, it’s on all of us. This is our community. It’s exactly as good or as shitty as we decide it to be. You people want good threads? I do love Creed MI, though that might be a bit expensive. Gallagher’s Amongst Waves is nice and watery, quite unique, but it’s also quite sweet and has absolutely massive projection. Might gas people out with that one. He’s also raised his prices since I got my bottle. It’s apparently 79%, so it’s strong as fuck.

We're talking about fragrance here, it WOULD be more wise to actually get out of your basement and smell some shit for yourself. So cut the middle man and hit the stores and smell everything until you find what you're looking for.

Oh give me a fucking break. I'm an oldfag too and 4chan has been shitposting since the beginning. In fact, that's what made this place so fucking notorious from the get-go: memes and shitposting. It doesn't matter what thread on what board you go on to, you're gonna get shitposts. Hell, even /sci/, /lit/, and /hist/ have their memes and nobody there complains because they're smart enough to know how to avoid taking bait. And to be perfectly honest, I love memes and shitposting, it's what makes this place what it is. Things like that natually come with anonymity, so you can either get used to it, or fuck off to Reddit where you can hoard your precious karma like some greasy gremlin.

There was always shitposting, but it wasn’t 90% of all posts. We used to do stuff. We’d have raids, shoop threads, discussion threads, camwhore threads, fun random shit like when Moot would randomly add background music or something, all kinds of stuff. Go look at /b/ now. It’s all porn, /pol/ threads, and shitposting. Look at this thread. How many actual helpful posts are there as opposed to shitposts? When I say oldfag, I mean I’ve been here since 2006. If you think there was always this much shitposting, you’re definitely not an oldfag.

Also, responding to a post with “based” is not contributing. It’s just saying you liked that post. It’s literally an upvote/like button. I know you didn’t say that, just wanted to point that out.

>> No.14375964

>>14375954
Just to clarify: I don’t have a problem with memes and shitposts, I have a problem with there being way too much of that stuff. There’s almost no point in having different boards now since it’s all just shitposts, and probably half of it is /pol/ and /r9k/ memes.

Memes are fine, like you said, it’s part of 4chan’s identity, but not when every thread is 90% memes and shitposts. There’s a time and a place.
