Yes, it's called techwear. Typically a bulletproof vest is a thug thing since they wear puffy jackets and saggy clothes. My advice is try and make it not the center of the outfit so that people don't think you're some military larper. Wear say a zip-up hoodie and now ya look like a guy who's being hunted by someone.

the long and short of it is to try and get something from ACG since that line (from nike ironically) has a tactical aesthetic and would make a bulletproof vest look like a intelligent wardrobe choice.
