Reposting. I'm looking for a dress watch for around £5-10k pricewise. Where it gets tricky is that I don't come from money but need a respectable watch due to the nature of my job (I work in finances). I was thinking of getting PP Calatrava. When they were just Heur, they were pretty good. Now they are just a shell of their former self. A lot of their movements are just repurposed Seiko movements, so you dont actually know if youre getting an "in house" movement. Their build quality has gone down, they basically use nicer Fossil type cases but upgraded in some areas. The QC has gone down wildly too. They seem more concerned with selling cool liking watches, not good quality ones.

A Tag is fine overall, but at their price range, I would say go with a name that still carries a bit of respect with it.
