Its magnetic resistance is outdated so not really a considerable selling point anymore

you're essentially getting something very similar to their cheaper models
compared to something like a base oyster perpetual you're just getting some unique styling and a meme magnetic resistance for a heavy premium

that said I actually like the wacky styling second hand and green tinted crystal a lot but not so much when I can get an oyster perpetual for like half the price

Hello,

I've had my daily driver SARB035 almost 3 years now and whilst it's still lovely (the movement goes astray a few mins a week because it's had the odd bump here and there but no big deal), I'm getting the itch to get something new.

I've also got
- An MDV106 (which I could daily again if I was able to get a different metal strap with custom end links)
- A Weekender Fairfield (currently on a Bond NATO- watch is a bit long for my bitch 6.5" wrists)
- A fake DW with a dead battery that I got for £3 a few years ago which I'm not really bothered about.

Should I just have one of the neglected ones getting some more wrist time or is it time to start thinking about a new watch?

The Timex Marlins have come on the scene since I was last around, I quite like these but my Fairfield is a bit close to it in looks to justify £200+

Definitely into my more minimal dress watches. No numbers and a date window is good with me.

Budget is up to £500 with scope creep to £1000 but can't help but feel like the SARB035 is such good value for money that I'd struggle with being happy spending a whole lot more on a similar level of quality.

Looked at the Junghans Max Bill a while back and wasn't particularly taken, same with the Tissot (too similar to the Fairfield I guess)/

If I was to go for an automatic I'd want hand winding but I'm not averse to a decent quartz on the lower end of the budget, preferably quieter than the Fairfield.

Just writing this makes me think I'm better off spending £100 on a pair of nice Hirsch leather straps and a decent brushed steel band for the Casio but open to suggestions...

Aspiring watchmaker here again. My dilemma. I can move to Switzerland, go to watchmaking school and live the rest of my life in Switzerland working on watches as a watchmaker for many different manufactures - I have to learn Swiss French and spend the rest of my life speaking Swiss fucking French or I can move to Germany, to Dresden and live the same life but working in Glashütte - I have to improve on my German. All three years of high school one of the retard kids won it. And it's always the hottest, most popular girl in school that wins queen. It's a sympathy vote for the retards because once they graduate school no one will coddle them and care about them anymore. Seeing a retard as an adult is a disgusting thing and seeing them return grocery carts or stock shelves like some sort of mindless robot really makes you evaluate your stance on abortion.
Downies are like pets. They don't grow up and suddenly start taking care of themselves, they don't become self sufficient. You have to feed them, clean them and watch over them just as you would a dog. You probably will still be cleaning up their shit their entire life just as you would a dog.
They serve no purpose but are a strain on families. There is absolutely no reason in 2019 that people with Down's Syndrome are still being brought into this world other than >muh feels.
