I mean, I did my research, but I can't find shit that isn't quartz.

There's this for example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkde5pp16_o [Embed]

And it looks really good to me, but it's quartz so...

This is in reference to trying to find a chrono with a design similar to Speedy with a 1/100 second timer and I'm not actually sure if non-quartz ones even exist.

Based... But what's your wrist size son? She's a big bitch. This is my 6.7 inch wrist, as you can see it's too big. As far as colour goes, there are a shit ton of dial variations, the cheapest is the black Srp777. Remember that you can easily mod it with a custom bezel, and/or custom bezel insert. The silicon strap pic related is really fucking nice, it was too big for me, I sold it on ebay for a great price and put the money towards a proper fit Erika originals strap

There are smarter ways of buying, i agree, but someone who wants a watch they like and doesn't have the time or knowledge to go hunting for certain pieces won't really care, 99% of people don't have the knowledge someone like us would have, they see a watch they like, walk into a shop, and buy it.

>If you were truly successful you wouldn't buy undesirable shitters. I believe you're only loaned these Rolexes from your AD friend to show off, actually.

I don't claim to be rich or successful btw, i like watches and i know what to buy for the most part, The Seamaster is a watch i like regardless of value retention. The Rolexes are a safe buy because of that but i find them boring, and 90% of people either don't care or think they're fake. I can't disprove your last comment so believe what you will, but once stickers are removed, bracelet adjusted etc that watch is second hand and an AD cannot sell it and would lose their AD status if found out. THAT would be a terrible business decision.

I get your reasoning, but then there's never a point at which anything you buy can truly be a good purchase. That latte i paid for was a stupid purchase, i have running water at home, that takeout meal was a bad idea, i could have cooked myself. Someone has to make a profit, and value is subjective, the enjoyment derived from said purchase to me is the true measure of value.

Accumulating wealth by avoiding less than favourable value purchases at the expense of personal enjoyment to then die sounds like the real stupidity.

If life's responsibilities are taken care of, do what you want with your money, you've earned it.

My favorite ones are the vintage Omega, the OrientStar and the Aristo ETA Flieger. The Timex is also cool, as it’s a rather rare hand wind model of the 80s.

The movement is junk. It's an ETA 2892 with a disposable chronograph module slapped on top, that most watchmakers wont even attempt to service because they were meant to be disposable. If you send it to Swatch for service they throw out the entire chronograph module and replace it.

The MOTM has an archaic movement driven by nostalgia wank, but at least it still delivers that vintage chronograph experience authentically with a well built, long lasting movement.

There's an apocryphal internet story about the 2894 movement not being able to be serviced, and watchmakers simply chucking out the DD module because it's too expensive to fix. It's now become an Internet FactTM and so it's almost fashionable for people to hate the watch. I doubt there are too many people who repeat this fact who have ever tried to have one serviced. I'm sure that someone, somewhere, has run into this problem, but it says more about the watchmaker than the movement.

If Patek continues cutting every possible corner and focusing on catering to Chinks who want to have conspicuous, gold dinner plates on their wrists they're going to head the way of Audemars Piguet, Cartier, and (TAG) Heuer. Pic related really captures the pervasive cheapening of the Patek brand (also note the lack of the Geneva Seal, a 3rd party standard they no longer keep).

They’ve invested money in their facilities in Vaud and Neuchâtel. One of the requirements of the Geneva seal is for the movement to be assembled in the Geneva canton. Patek also have other reeasons for leaving, one is the Geneva seal used to only just check the movement itself and not the entire watch, and another is, though a rumour, Cartier’s entrance. Plenty of HH makers out there also don’t have a Geneva seal, biggest reason is the must be assembled in Geneva canton only requirement.

In order to ascertain what it means, the faces need to be studied in more detail. The refraction of the light within the glasses allocates more of a particular realm and has more with time dilation that compared to the other. As to answer why, the reason remains unknown.

The corner describes another instance in which the shadow of the temple regarding the facial structure eats away at them simply. Therefore, it should be noted that despite all this, the realm of reality and fiction in which they exist cannot simply be explained with simple precautions but must be known.

Behind that, behind your vat of blood, there lies it. The God of it all demands the dragon of the golden crown to eat away at the vat of blood and feces. The God of the machinations dislikes the scripts and upon the screen of death, hates that with the passion of death. The abyss and the void of death clings onto the void of the screen. The abyss and files within the abyss cling to the vat and the refraction of the light continues to press forward onto the screen and mirror of disrepair. In order to properly contain it, the addendum of time must be added onto the dilation of the screen and exit out onto the God of machinations and the fiction must be coincided with them. The screaming and the void.
>Regarding the void

The simple equation is resulting of about a life to another. A mammal in which is equal to that of a fox equals about a human life. So, a cow with a head of a pig can thus equate to about two human lives. Therefore, you can say that the lives in the escape of the exit can see forward through the abyss and into the vat of blood and feces of about two human lives. Therefore, it should be stated that the life of a pig with the body of a cow can be seen with the lens of a pig with the body of a fox. With the abyss, it cannot be understated. Therefore, it should be with Lain instead. Inside the machinations of it, lies the fiction of the refraction of the light.
