Definitely get the Original over the bushacre. Crepe sole stomps over the shitty rubber sole and the leather is significantly better. More supple. But I'd advice to look at other chukkas at similar price points. Oh and change out the laces if you want them dressier or more casual

Mostly chelseas (Australian work boots) which are a bit lighter in construction but I have a pair of Iron Rangers I'm pretty careless about what weather I wear them in. Anyway, Thursdays are made in Mexico, using a ripoff formula of CXL. fake Dainite soles that are supposedly a lot softer than actual Dainite and wear twice as fast, don't use all leather inside but have foam shit.
Everything about them screams "cheap" but then again, that's the point. If I was an entry level boot person and had no idea what I liked as far a GYW shoes goes, or just wanted a sturdy pair of shoes to beat up, I'd consider Thursdays.
My wife is starting to get jealous of all my nice boots and wants to get a pair too. So I've been showing her some Thursdays for women. Those definitely dont look to be old enough to have gone to Vietnam and that isn't an American boot pattern from the era and most countries used our jungle boots regardless. They look German or swedish from the 80s or some shit. The only thing you can do to them is to condition them with shoe grease like Huberds or snow seal or saddle soap. I personally use huberds shoe grease because it smells good and makes the leather soft and saddle soap has damaged some of my older leather boots, that were painted instead of dyed, which is common on vintage military issue boots.
