it's like a passage into adulthood, realizing you have agency in the outside world and you can change and remove things that always seemed like permanent fixtures.

Framed exhibition poster, a portrait of my grandfather by a talented photoessayist and an early work by my childhood neighbour who was a beautiful person and a locally respected artist.

I've got some stuff I don't have hung, there's some more of her works awaiting framing, these are a priority as I need to preserve the work as best as I can, my framer and their suppliers don't have the right frames though, I might have to buy some timber moulding and paint it myself. I also have some pieces that resonate with me by local printmakers whom I respect but I'll wait until I'm settled down before I get those framed. I'm moving around too much with work to do that, as much as I'd like to dress my house as a home.

There is a shop in Cheltenham Glos. that specialises in art, film, and rare prints and they do custom and specialist prints. I think it's called Moss Gallery and it's on Suffolk road. Doubt they've got a website though but if you're ever in the area then it's worth popping in. It's very big and they have an extensive collection.

I find americans don't know how to rate from 1-10, I think it's because of their retarded feel good grading system where F is 0-59 and then the rest of the letters are increments of 10. So effectively 5/10 is shit and 8/10 is decent.
