They tied my hair into dreads first, because originally she wanted to do it by after it was shampooed just curl it with some tool I think, but because my hair is pretty straight she had to do little dreads

I had to then wear a durag for 2 days, mostly just to go to bed and I untied the dreads on the 3rd day.

I’m really hoping it grows out more because I haven’t had hair this low in a while, I’ve always just had a natural high top until now

I have hair _very_ similar to this.

I'll preface and say most of yall will probablys hit on me if I post a picture because I'm a weird amount mixed (dads parents were half black and black, my parents are that and white)

After I wash it it looks a little dull/dry. One day after it looks p good (like this) when it has some natural oil in it but if the curls get pulled out taking a sweatshirt or something off it starts getting fucked fast. After that I can last 2-3 more days but it eventually just becomes gross. I do need to shower because I exercise ~3 times a week.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with ti on the daily and just end up wearing it up more than I'd like to.

I finally started washing it with the correct stuff (use trader joes tea tree shit) and drying it upsidedown not pulling all the curls out. What else can I do?
