Creates a very expensive, overengineered solution for a problem that was solved cheaper, with less servicing cost for the consumer, by other manufacturers.
It just makes it more precise.
This watch is just a gimmick to sell overpriced zeniths to suckers.
It's nothing new or innovative, fusee and chain has already be done in old pocketwatches and i bet there was a pretty good reason why this tech vanished.
My guess is expensive servicing and shit durability.

>>14133735
It's not though, what I'm pointing out is the distance of the day/date windows from the rehaut. It's clearly a small movement inside a large case. You can use large numerals all you want but the date window will be off.

It all started with a guy asking about the Seiko up top. I pointed out how it looked cheap. The chapter ring looks like a cope for a small movement, and it's obvious. Now there's a Seiko weeb acting like bezels is the same as chapter rings.

Here's an almost 1:1 comparison. Both watches have similar bezels but look how far the day/date window from the rehaut is on the Seiko, compared to how close the date window is to the rehaut on the DateJust. It's not about bezels, it's about the distance of the windows to the rehaut.

Not totally flat, and not for the entire duration, but flatter, and with less extreme torque difference at both ends of the winding that the old non-reversing mainsprings. Basically these are already good enough for chronometers.

Here's a graph from the book we studied from, showing a bit exaggerated example. The most constant torque will be between one and a half and six and a half turns of the mainspring barrel.

The movement is not the problem. Stowa cases and some other parts were made in China. On the other hand, both sinn and damasko's cases were made by themselves in Germany. They also put a lot of money to develop their case hardening technologies: tagimented and ice hardened cases.
Read this thread if you haven't. The owner of stowa itself dodged the question when asked about chinese parts.
