The fear is for a reason. I'm traumatized after i bought an expensive leather trenchcoat once as a poor student that i didnt wear (it was an ankle length matrix trenchcoat). I put it up for sale but not even a lapring neckbeard would buy it. Now I can get a buyers remorse from a t-shirt

I only find good leather jackets when thrifting, I like my leather jackets to actually feel thick and to have texture and the only place that I've found jackets like that is thrifting

They are fairly overpriced, nonetheless unparalleled in terms of craftsmanship, thick full grain hides, proper fit and attention to details. Superior to similar offerings from Aero, Schott, Vanson, and most designer brands for that matter.

Fag. I uess for OP, I've never been a fan of the smaller leather jackets, especially ones that look new & clean. My favorite jacket is a thick, almost parka looking black jacket that I got as a hand me down from mom, almost looks like a shorter version of Donte's jacket from DmC but all black with some fake fur on the hood. I don't know what you consider "normal" physique but I'm a lanklet & think I'd look like a goofball larper wearing something like pic you posted or any sort of smaller, cleaner jacket.

Save up or thrift, I have faux leather boots & after a year or so of constant use they look grody & are full of holes, honestly I kind of like em more now but I don't think it'd be a good look for a jacket
