I've been interested in in cheaper (<$500) leather jacket brands for a while.

I originally chose a bodaskins jacket, but now I'm not so sure.

Wish someone would compare all these cheaper brands (Allsaints, Independence Brothers, Lac.la, Boda Skins, etc)

I think none of those have mtm option except ID. And since they're sourcing their materials and work from Mexico rather than India/Pakistan now (their jackets were like 250 bucks when they did), the quality should be decent as well. I heard Leon is famous for their leatherwork. Doubt you'll find something made in usa/europe at this price range. So on paper, IB looks better.Looks alright on photos I've been able to find as well. This one is Minimalist Double Rider.

Also the owner of the company did AMA on reddit, looks like he's transparent enough about his business.

Reondistrict dont have custom fits, and I need that since I'm 6'3 (which is already a problem) with nonstandart proportions: my shoulders/chest are really broad compared to my waist, regular size looks like crap on me regardless.

I mean the exact same applies to biker jackets. maybe they look better zipped compared to bomber and normal leather but hardly anyone wears them that way and its not super comfortable anyway.
