I stuck to boring MFA uniform shit and still got called a "dad" and a bunch of other stupid shit just for wearing like a Barbour jacket and a sweater, and I just did not fuck as a result of it.

But now I went off to uni and started enjoying more adventurous stuff (Hedi-core, some Raf, a lot more of a post-punk influence in general) and suddenly girls I went to high school with that thought my shit was weird three years ago are matching with me on tinder thirsting.

Basically, if you deviate from wearing slim fit pants and tees high school kids will find some angle to roast you.
