I think that it suffers, in Western eyes, from the same problem as Hindu sacred architecture: They festoon their buildings in so much detail that it just becomes kind of fuzzy from a distance. The Sagrada Familia in Spain also has this going on for it.

I think a synthesis of (Neo-)Classical and Islamic architecture, or (Neo-)Classical and Hindu architecture would be fantastic, however.
