Taking best if hookeranon will smash the /frag/ Queen.

Also, recommend me some out of box vanilla frags. So bored of numerous alcoholic rum/cognac or green patchouli/mint twists. Thinking of getting Sylvain Delacourte sample box, but they seem to be all women frags.

I know Casanova too well and am bored by it as well. It's just a classic fougere accord with tonka replaced by vanilla. Virgile by Sylvaine Delacourte seems more promising with lavender replaced by sage that I love but it might be a bit too rustical blend having in mind that there's also thyme there.

And Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille. Technically leans feminine, but it’s very snice. The beeswax note gives it this very interesting slightly woody, waxy thing that’s very enjoyable. Keeps it from becoming too candy sweet.

There are a few autistic anti-Creed fags (and some equally autistic anti-niche in general fags), so expect a lot of shitposting in response.

In my opinion, Creed is overpriced if you’re paying retail, but they’re readily available on discount sites. Royal Oud is a great woody/spicy scent. Viking is a very snice mature spicy, minty vetiver. MI is a great all-rounder, great compliment getter, though performance is meh.

Overall, they have some quality scents if you ignore all the fake history silliness and don’t pay retail.

We buy Creed frags because we like them. No one except complete brainlets are fooled by the phone history, and those are the same sort of idiots who buy fancy bottled water because it has a French name or some shit.

Why are you faggots so obsessed with always having an us vs them thing going? Some people enjoy niche scents, some enjoy designer, some enjoy both. All are fine, and no one here says otherwise other than in your imagined headcanon.

I'm the piece of shit who got high and impulse bought three 100ml bottles of Mariah Carey's M.

It's pleasantly surprising - a simple combo of toasting marshmallows and warm incense with a base of tiare and sea air. The notes are true and not immediately 'fake flowers and sugar.'

The reason I came back to mention it is that it's arguably the best frag I have ever smelled on a man.
My partner gave himself a few sprays as a joke and it really is perfectly unisex, which I haven't noticed before in a sweet gourmand.

This concerns me because oils a) don't project very well and b) are usually cheapies or clones which aren't going to last as long as professionally formulated EdPs with strong fixative molecules.

But I really adore the vibrancy of the women's line. Like if I'm to be real I'd rock more Tom Ford over Gucci if I had the cash but as a design house I love Gucci's stuff more. Also since we're on the subject of clothing lined going into frags I've read NOTHING but bad things about the McQueen scents. Which is a downer as I love this stuff too.

Anyone else here find Bond No. 9 scents to be very cheap smelling? I finally got a chance to sample a whole bunch of them and I was not impressed. I find this to be the case with basically any indie or small house perfumery. Great scents in the bottle, but basically no effort when it comes to duration or silage. They just tell you to apply more often which I guess turns into buying more even faster.

Hello /fa/

I'm looking for a fragrance recommendation.

What I am aiming for is something like this: I love oud wood in general, and I am looking for oud wood smell. From all that I've tried I probably like tom ford oud wood, but something more subtle (and cheaper). My fav smell is Amouage memoir man tho, in which I love the incense with more fresh and spicy tones and I fucking love the variety of smells amouage provides. I hate heavy smells like nasomatto and I sort of enjoyed Margiela Jazz club. What I dislike are too aromatic and too floral smells smelling like old saudi lady and also, "young" smells like blue de chanel etc.

Is there anything that crossed your mind?

As a fellow Oud Wood lover I can say I haven't found anything yet that has quite hit the spot yet in terms of cheaper alternatives. You could get some decants or splits of Our Wood if you want to save money.

I have heard good things about Versace Oud Noir, buy haven't had a chance to try it myself, don't know if someone else here has.
