to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dior Fahrenheit. The scent is extremely avant-garde, and without a solid grasp of theoretical perfumery, most of the notes will go over a typical wearer's head.

We got the notes for Jeremy’s frag, lads: Bergamot, Ambroxan, Iris, pink pepper, I think he said... cashalocks? I have no idea what the fuck that is, paradesion?, musk, patchouli, and “intense modern wood”.

So, looks like a pretty generic crowd-pleaser, aside from those two weird notes I couldn’t figure out. Seriously, I tried googling and using fragrantica’s note list for every permutation of “cashalocks” and “paradesion” I could think of and I got nothing.

I'm guessing "cashelox" and the other one are new aromachemicals that are being tested here by Firmenich. "Intense modern wood" is probably oud in some form as Jeremy and Alberto have mentioned they will use. Based on the note breakdown it will probably smell like a very woody version of Dior Homme Eau, and maybe even in the realm of GIT if those new notes are green/fresh.

Picked up some samples from Allsaints new line of fragrances. Metal Wave, Incense City and Sunset Riot. Metal Wave is pretty uninspiring, kinda sharp with a papyrus note that leaves it kinda gamey and stale. It's thin and reedy with just a bit of sweetness that smells like soggy paper. It reminds me a lot of Quorum Silver but much more toned down and not so woody.

Incense City is... well incense, but not resinous. It's smells kinda like deodorant desu and is probably the least creative of the three. It's ambroxan heavy and there's cedar in the base which makes its rounded out, but redundant.

Sunset Riot is a Baccarat Rouge 540 clone straight the fuck up. And not a bad one at that. It's much more transparent but that candied fruit/berry smell is still there. Same with that classic "dentist chair smell". It's obviously not as rich but I tested both on each hand and they seem to have the same longevity, but BR540 stays denser while SR becomes a bit ethereal, yet abundant never losing that vibe. This is probably my favorite of the three, and if you like BR540 I implore you to sample this as its an even more playful version of 540. I'll be picking up a bottle to sub for my (stupidly overpriced) bottle of BR540. Bottles are 80 bucks a pop for 100ml. They're not bad all in all

Frags i already tried

L'eau D'issey Miyake - I like it. Specially because it smells somewhat medicinal, but i don't know about using it on extremely hot weather.

Dior Homme Sport (NEW) - Good smell but too powdery and very weak sillage. Didn't like the drydown.

None of them have great performance.

MI is best overall, imo, very crowd pleasing and smells very rich. Erolfa I find to be a bit dated. Kinda smells like the prototype for MI. Royal Water is great, very snice basil/mint/citrus, but has the worst performance. VIWis snice, but smells too much like something your girlfriend would buy at B&BW or something. It’s pretty much straight-up sugary lime and coconut with a bit of rum. Smells like someone dumped a margarita and a pina colada over your head. I own a decant of VIW, but I wouldn’t buy a full bottle.

I've only tried MI and Royal Water, the first one is richier imo but on my skin the performance is the worst among the frags ive tested so far sadly.
Fun enough I got a really good performance with Royal Water specially for a fresh scent.

Btw have anything recommendations of anything niche with good performance for really hot weather?

Reposting my top five:
1 - Santa Maria Novella Patchouli - brutalist earthy patch with mild supporting notes, but basically hardcore patchouli.
2 - Dior Patchouli Imperial - strongly patch but lots of sandalwood and citrus round it out.
3 - Lorenzo Villoresi Patchouli - another brutalist patch, supported by classical Italian masculine cologne notes.
4 - Tom Ford Patchouli Absolu - patch with wood and cypress; mature and masculine.
5 - Montale Patchouli Leaves - patch, vanilla, and some wood; sweet, dank, and everlasting.

- Amouage Reflection or Beach Hut.
- Roja Elysium Parfum, if you want to go higher-end. Smells sort of like a mix of BdC and Cedrat Bois, very well blended woody-citrus, and lasts forever.

Not him but I fucking love Prada Amber Pour Homme. It's what I think of when I hear the term "barbershop." With that being said I think it's more of a lavender, neroli, citrus, and amber (the oriental accord of vanilla, patchouli, labdanum...not the more salty ambergris/ambroxan version of "amber") frag. There's some cardamom, myrhh and saffron too giving some warm spice. And there's also a molecule in the base called nirvanolide which is a musk and basically smells like clean skin and somehow makes the frag literally radiate physical heat somehow. This effect is balanced by the aforementioned cooling citrus and neroli. It's a genius frag desu senpai it's fucking godly

I was sampling picrelated this week. Zara 7.0. A friend mentioned it's almost a violet analogue of Dior Homme Eau for Men and it's Iris. I'm going to say that's a pretty accurate in the first hour or two, but the lack of powder and amber in the later stages distinguishes it pretty significantly.
Overall not bad. Frangrantica doesn't seem to have links to places where it's for sale, but I wouldn't want to pay much more than I would for Dior Homme Eau.
Anyone else try this before?

Toilet doesn’t mean a toilet, specifically, in Europe. It’s used to refer to the bathroom, ie. if you say you’re going to the toilet, it means you’re going to the bathroom. In that context, toilet water makes perfect sense. It’s scented water (alcohol technically, I guess) that you use in the toilet (bathroom).
