Should I just wear fleeces as if they were regular jackets? I don't really wear them often but its cold as fuck and I'd like to try some new stuff. Most of the inspo I can find is either full denim sherpas or super workwear which isn't really what im going for.

pic related: a uniqlo fleece i considered copping but i got a turtleneck in a similar color instead

fleece on the outside does nothing to keep you warm.

Fleece is made as a mid layer and its 10/10 for insulation, qucik drying, moisture wicking, and keeps it's warmth when wet.

You should have a moisture wicking long sleeve baseayer(polyester/wool) then fleece jacket then water repellent/ wind stopping jacket(nylon/goretex).

Basically everything you put over it becomes "fleece lined"

that's a good piece just layer it if it's actually cold or raining where you live, I wear mine with a quilted jacket over

I should mention that fleece is extremely versatile I love mine as an outer layer if weather permits it but if you're really cold it goes in the middle

I can’t go anywhere without some stacy whore jockin on my nuts about it, and it sucks total dick as an actual jacket not warm or comfy at all

have probably worn it 10 times in at least 5 years of ownership

So, if we have this thread, wtb cool fleece without branding like patagonia. And it would be cool to have more interesting shape

I'm starting a job as an engineer in a factory. Would a fleece quarter zip over a button down be appropriate? The dress code is business casual.
