Admittedly shitposters aren't killing many good threads since this place is so slow, but I'd rather have a few lingering quality discussions than a constant churn of textual feces with some quality content interspersed.
I also think this board needs to move away from consumption. As it stands it might as well be called /clothes shopping/. More discussion of designers would be nice, but that would necessitate the community educating itself and if I'm too fucking lazy to read a fashion book I can't very well call out others for being the same way.
What I think we can do is talk more about how to use the pieces we already have in interesting ways, or talk more about general design principles which apply across styles. Youre also spot on with waywt. This is 4chan so there'll always be useless mass replies, but more people should comment about the specifics of fits whether good or bad. Just saying you like a fit is no more helpful than calling the anon who posted it a cocksucker.

Have more active mods do not deviate into political debate during arguments in threads. This would fix it I think also more buy sell trade or sleazecore threads. Also some new ideas for possible threads would be appreciated.

Does anyone think there would be any interest in a type of thread where you post sales listings of stuff you like but don’t particularly want to buy, in case someone else wants to cop it? Particularly for vintage/secondhands.

I do a lot of browsing sales sites in my free time and see a lot of stuff that doesn’t exactly fit my style but someone else might like.

I would definitely benefit from others posting items that I might not have come across otherwise but I can also see how it could get pretty competitive. Unsure if this is a good idea, thoughts?
