Jubilee or Oyster ?

The watch comes with the jubilee bracelet. I wanna buy the one that comes with the rubber and then buy separately the jubilee from seiko for $35. This would cost the same as if I bought the j2 that comes with jubilee, but this way I also have the rubber band.

Or should I buy the rubber one + oyster instead of jubilee?

I'm leaning toward jubilee because that's the one that comes included with the watch.

cosc has quartz timing standards, which would be applied here (and this movement would certainly not pass)

>>13747274
>we can achieve less than 10s/y with just 32khz crystals.
Nope. A 32khz crystal would need help from thermocompensation.

Only because the swiss like the pretend mechanicals are better by moving the goal post when it comes to quartz.

Which a DW has neither

You sound like one of those dipshits that "prove" creationism. Your dumb, barely thought out consumer opinions aren't scientific reasoning.

Just buy a fucking Timex instead of that shitter, even a casio f91w, you call people NPC's yet defend a DW shitter that only appeals to people that know jack shit about horology.

strap code doesn't make a strap with a curved end that will fit my diver.

what's a good style of metal bracelet that
a) tapers and
b) looks good even with a straight end?

so I bought one of these.

in the future when the battery dies, is it safe to bring it to one of those battery change stalls you find in the mall? or will they fuck it up

or should I really be bringing it back to the Seiko repair place in the city?

>> No.13748559

i started wearing a watch again,

dad's old timex

has some serious issues, the day/date wheel has broken teeth so it seizes on a few dates,

when the mainspring is wound completely you need to jolt the watch to get it to start running again'

it's a pressed back case back, and the plating is worn to the brass base metal near the stem

the entire watch is worth maybe $1 in parts (timex is a shit brand this isn't a good watch and wind up watches are worthless)

but i've just been wearing it as a bracelet

i fucked up a really nice watch by taking it to a jeweller at the mall

was a quartz ETA powered gold filled watch from the 80's relatively complex movement (moonphase) from a mid tier brand

and they pu a battery in from an off brand

and it leaked when it died and fucked the movement
