rei kawakubo has been producing avant garde fashion since the 1970s, and the house includes multiple designers with their own lines like junya and ganryu, among others. if you opinion is based on just seeing cdg play heart logos on t-shirts and shoes its understandable. but even a quick read on wikipedia should change your perspective
