Any advice on how I could make an attic bedroom more effay? The sloped ceiling makes it difficult. Pic related isn't mine but is generally the shape im working with. I have all bare wood furniture and flooring and white walls.
Thinking about putting a row of hanging baskets along the ceiling and small trees in the corners for a nature sorta look. Thoughts?

Lowkey its not my favorite but my taste shouldnt influence your choices! I would say because it is so stark you are either going to have to place in an area with a lighter floor / backdrop and put plants or maybe books along the top. Bowls and whatnot are always good. Option two is to go full /rick, and keep the vibe consistent. Dark floors with a dark piece and dark things around/on it.

Interior design is something I understand almost 0%. I know a guy who builds houses. A real blue collar guy. You wouldn't expect it, but he has a beautiful home. Moulding, accent walls, furniture, etc. I guess when you build homes for a living, you develop an advanced taste.

I switched my cupboard with my closet at the beginning of the year. That was a very nice idea as it actually makes for a little more free space and looks cozier. I guess I could move my bed or PC desk under my window, see if that makes for a change, but I think I like the way they're arranged now.

House plants are cheap and make shitty furniture look a lot better. Heartleaf philodendron works good for small spaces (coffee tables, kitchen counters) and ivies are good to fill in off of ledges (fridge tops, high shelves).

Try and match the style of the home you're in as best you can. Be selective about your furniture when you have a lot of roadside furniture to choose from.

Fill that bookshelf with some books and other assorted trinkets. Vintage shit is cool but don't be a poser. Put some art on the wall. You'll want something with a wood frame and a lot of white space. Add a few if you want. Then add a bunch of houseplants and you're golden. Put a few on the desk and one on top of the shelf. As the other anon suggested, get some white sheets. I'm about to be moving to a studio apartment soon and I have no idea about what kind of furniture I should get and I don't really have any idea about interior decorating.
Here's an album with pics of similar apartments: https://imgur.com/a/v9Sno5q.. I'll be living in an apartment just like the one with the white kitchen only the kitchen is black like in one of the pictures.
Obviously I'll need a bed, that would go where the tape measure is. A smaller dinner table and chairs are also essential. I think I'd manage to fit a desk, a smaller sofa and a coffee table still. I think I'd like to go for furniture that have a 50s and 60s style to them, but not too kitsch. Anyways, any advice is appreciated.

Agree. Mid century is beautiful, but part of the aesthetic is to only have what's necessary. You do seem to have more than you need, and it kills the open spaces. I'd suggest relocate some of the pieces to other parts of the house, or sell what you want to keep least.
