I don't really agree. A lot of cars, especially modern cars completely detract from the drivers aesthetic doesn't matter how clean they are, if they don't mesh it won't work. Some styles actually work better with a weathered patinated beater than they would with a clean econo-box. Just be sure it runs well and your a.c. and heat work.

Fashion is about image, cars present an image. There must be a level of synchronicity between the two. You can't be dressed in full blown sleazecore or crustpunk and be driving a late model Toyota or Fiesta It just doesn't mesh.

Although many view modern crossovers and econoboxes as nondescript appliances; the fact is, these cars scream "safe decision" and unless you're full blown normie-core, they will hurt your image.

I'm not saying everyone needs a classic muscle car or contemporary exotic, but either find a car that compliments your aesthetic or find one that's truly neutral.
