Personally they are not something I'd buy, but they are great looking. amazing quality, definitely some of the best suede ive ever felt on a shoe. Yeah they're Tricker's "Ilkley" derby shoes.
Hands down best shoes I've got quality wise. They're pretty sturdy and heavy - especially with the commando sole, but the rugged look is what makes the shoe. Took me few weeks to break them in. Definitely worth the retail price imo, but you should also check Tricker's outlet.

Thanks, they're very nice. Only thing I don't really like about them, is that their side silhouette is very bulky. Other than that, perfect.

I think they can be resoled, but they won't look the same after. The sole is super chunky though, it's rubber and 40mm at thickest point, probs 20-25 at slimmest. I honestly reckon they'll stay in good shape for years. And the rubber feels quite sturdy, nothing like 1461 gum sole or whatever it is. Those are horrible, less than a year old and already completely worn out and cracked.

My go to shoe if i need to grab something from the store, great for driving as well since the sole is flat. 70's hella comfy and i really like to wear them with black trousers and wrap the laces a few times around the shaft. Creates a nice effect, since you have a black trouser, white colour block from the lace, then black from the shoe again and then the sole is white. Pair it up with a oversized t and tuck it in and it's great basic everyday uniform fit.

Amusingly enough, I needed a size 40/41. Also I looked into the Rick Creepers and I wasn't too big of a fan. The Ann D Vitellos are amazing to me but they tend to be very rare in general no matter the size.

My only issue with the pair you've linked is that the heel height isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

Slim body, long legs and slim/skinny jeans. Elongate the proportions of your legs by tucking in the shirt and wear mid/high rise pants. If you do those steps, chelseas and boots in general tend to look absolutely amazing. If your body is fat/too muscular and your wear loose jeans, they probably won’t work too well. And if you’ve never worn like 40mm heel, they tend to improve your posture a lot because you have to stand straight. Of course the extra height makes a difference aswell, even if you’re like 185cm the extra height from the heel will make you feel more confident.

I have wide feet and shoes either end up being too long or too tight, depending on how I try to size up. Sometimes both unless i wear super thin or no socks. People said try ultra boosts but still getting the same problem. Want good everyday trainers, should I just suck it up and get them a bit too long?
