Daily reminder that the ideal male body is ottermode, and the best way to achieve that is with calisthenics and cardio.
You will:
>fill out your shirts better
>wear tighter clothing without being self conscious about your gut and man tits since i bet most of you are skinny fat and not just skinny.
>look good naked as well
>be healthier and stronger

the only way you can pull off the skinny look is if you're an androgynous bottom twink.

Also if any of you are mewing or doing any other exercises to fix your jaw the increased test and growth hormones from working out will contribute to that.

Can I do callisthenics and cardio to gain weight instead of compound weight training? I live in the countryside (straight boonies) and the only gym near me is over an hour away. It’s also really expensive. I have dumbbells (25kg set). I’m 5’7” 50kg. Everyone says weight training is the way for skinnies and pretty much anyone but what about callisthenics?

you can gain mass with calisthenics and cardio but it's gonna be slower because there's the extra limitation of balance and flexibility. you'll need to eat at surplus though so you'll inevitably gain some fat, but it won't be that bad if you clean bulk.
buy yourself a pull up bar and a dips station. you can also get an exercise bench, an exercise mat, and maybe a resistance band too. they're not necessary but you might need them for exercise progressions.

Test only affects bone structure until puberty. Working out can help fill out musculature of face and neck, but not bones.

Thanks. Are there any good youtubers or good workout plans I could follow? I have a pull up bar too

As someone that has never lifted and has fucked around with calisthenics for years: would recommend /fa/gs find a strength coach and just lift.
Dicking around on your bedroom floor you're probably not going to go anywhere fast and you'll probably be nursing minor injuries that always make it two steps forward and one step back.
You don't lift some weights and then explode into a roidmonster, you can absolutely stop at ottermode tier and maintain or switch to calisthenics at that point.

But won’t callisthenics at least do something? At the end of the day, diet is the most important thing in all of this right?

Calisthenics is a cope. If you go to a gym in six months time you will have earned what is going to take you years in calisthenics.

I know it's leddit but it's unironically a great routine. However I personally don't like the progressions and apply these instead on the reddit routine:
http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/exercise-progressions_12.html

static stretches:
http://www.startbodyweight.com/p/simple-static-stretching-routine.html

for cardio check look up couch to 5k.

tdee calculator to find out how much you should eat (you can adjust on it though, like maybe bulk less)

shit's expensive. most people can't access that. also it's much harder to injure yourself on calisthenics if you aren't a retard.

>>13453889
that's because many calisthenics fags tend to undereat and never do the progressions right. you're body weight can be pretty challenging if you use the correct leverages.
weighted calisthenics is a thing too.
no shame in weights though. i just thought it might not appeal to the demographic here.

I know what you're going for and you might do more good with that advice than with mine, because are these guys actually going to hit the gym? Probably not.
Getting the right leverages and doing the movements right is trickier than working out a lift, though.

Wrong, you're jaw bone is stretch out by use of your jaw muscles, lack of proper diet as youngin leads to a weak jaw

Maybe you can change the orientation of your jaw, but you're not going to get changes in bone. Sorry, but if you're a jawlet, mewing, increased test, etc. isn't going to help. Any change will be subtle, but you might develop some really noticeable obsessive compulsive-like behavior from it.

Wew fellow crohnesbro
How bad are your symptoms? I'm fighting with strong fatigue mostly so I don't work out when I know that the next day will be exhausting, but on friday/saturday I go all out.
If you want we can chat on discord or something and exchange some tips, i rarely know anyone who lifts with crohnes.

Sup, fellow sufferer. My symptoms are sort of mostly under control. Full background: have Crohn's symptoms for 17 years now, never had diarrhea, just insanely painful cramps and some vomiting as main symptoms, some psoriasis in the scalp as a side-effect, so I guess my case wasn't as bad as some other's. Took pretty much every med for it from 2005 up to 2016, from the useless mesalazine and derivates, to corticosteroids (budesonide and prednisone, which is both a blessing and a curse), to immunosuppressants, to biologics such as remicade and humira. You probably know the story: every new treatment works until it doesn't anymore.
I was in a bad shape in 2016, nearly died a few times when my gut almost closed up for good, but I always managed to avoid surgery, read too many stories from the forums to know that it doesn't solve anything in the long term and you'll eventually need another, and then another, until you have no gut left. Anyway, that's when I went the autologous stem cell route.
The results have been okay, but not great. I'm off meds for 2 years now, but I'm not completely symptom free, and my intestines are full of scar tissue, so eventually I might need surgery to fix this. I'm keeping the symptoms under control and managing to bulk a little by eating a diet consisting mostly of meat, with some eggs and a little dairy (lots of butter, some milk, very little cheese), and non startchy vegetables. I don't know if you ever came across the Crohn's Carnivore blog, but if you don't, I recommend you read it fully. The theory goes; and in my experience it's been true; that what triggers the autoimmune response in our bodies is the consumption of starch, and maybe other carbohidrates too (though honey seems to be safe for me).
I'm going to try the fecal matter transplant some time in the next two months, just waiting for the test results to come back. And I don't have discord, sorry. Any other way we can talk? I rarely talk to people on the internet.

You don't gain weight by training, you gain weight by eating. Training makes gaining weight slower, as it burns calories. It does how ever help decide the quality of your weight gain (whether you will gain kgs in muscle or just fat).

you can make it probably to 57 kg with just that before you need to start looking into more specific things.

You can also buy a pair od dumbbells and add weight as you progress

Some shit that sounds retarded is true.
Go on google images and look up "mouth breathing twins." First result ought to be a picture of identical twins where one breathed through her nose and one through her mouth.
Second thing I want you to look up on google images is "aboriginal diet teeth."
You're going to get a whole bunch of pictures here but the ones I mean show the difference between aboriginals that grew up eating their traditional foods and what is happening to the ones that are eating the white man's food.
Very remarkable difference, it's not just that they get more cavities: they grow up deformed.

I did mention cardio, which includes swimming.
You realize all these swimmers do resistance training on the side too right? Gettin a body like that with swimming alone would take too long.
Not to mention that not everyone has access to a pool fit for exercise.

it's true that diet and breathing while growing up have a profound impact on the structure of your face. some studies have even correlated childhood health (good diet, enough sleep) with facial symmetry. but once you're out of your teenage/growing years you can't change your bone structure without surgery.

I wish there was more research on this stuff, it's very choppy and anecdotal with people saying it's bullshit and others saying their dentist and orthodontist and dentist have suggested proper tongue placement to fix things ranging from lisps to slightly misaligned teeth.

I'll add my anecdotal evidence to this. I decided to try it and noticed an immediate improvement in the way I felt and the way I looked because I wasn't mouth breathing anymore. I'm not an ugly man at all, I'm in shape, I have straight white teeth (braces) a handsome symmetrical face, it's worth trying at least, if anything it's just going to improve your breathing, posture, and sleep. May not change bone structure but if you follow all the advice it seems to help facial muscles develop at least.

If you'd been exercising, eating real food, sleeping enough, getting your vitamins and generally not prostrating yourself before glowing rectangles in your mom's basement as a teenager you wouldn't have these problems.
On the other hand you could easily just have shit genetics, but most people who aren't dysgenic 56% Florida mutts probably don't have it too bad.

90% of the time it's too late to fix your face if you're at the tail end of your teenage years. Maybe your face might fix itself when you hit 25 or something, maybe you'll grow into it. Suck it up and stop doing meme lookism weird shit. No one cares about your maxilla.

Two of those (You)"s were me. My jaw is fine. I grew up playing hockey and hit puberty at like 11. It sounds like we both agree. Past like age 13-14 there's not much you can do, and past age 18-20 there's basically nothing. Embracing flaws is more attractive than tonguing the roof of your mouth all day.

Bone density =/= bone structure. Again, using muscles during puberty can affect bone structure. Your body recognizes demand and increases bone surface for muscles to attach to. Archaeologists actually determine roles and lifestyles from remains they find by looking for abnormal bone development.

You're stuck with the frame you've got after puberty though.

However: this mew guy does have a pretty weird face, doesn't he? Would be a bit of a coincidence if he didn't get it from that shit he advocates unless he specifically got surgery to give that impression.
