No, its not. The business account is a way for PayPal and the IRS to fuck you in the long run.

As it stands currently, 200 sales or 20,000 USD is PayPal threshold to report you to IRS. As we all know, PayPal changes their policies almost daily. Business accts require a SSN. That's to make it easier for the IRS to audit your income. Currently this doesn't matter but its obvious they're in the process of tightening regulation on business accounts soon.

There's also the issue of business vs hobbyist. If audited, its very easy to claim hobbyist but with a business account you are legally an independent business and open to getting royally fucked unless you have impeccable book keeping to verify that you've actually taken losses on items sold.

I will not do any business on grailed because of these changes.

How would you guys price leather jackets? I have this Izzy brand brown leather bomber, I don't have any pics right now and can't find any online, but it has a map of the Normandy invasion on the inside. I'm not sure what a fair price for it would be.
I have to sell it because it's a size too big for me, plus I'm moving somewhere with much warmer weather and have to ditch the bulky jackets.
It's 100% brown leather shell with 100% polyester lining, made in Korea, size M obviously mens sizing.

Does anyone know the etiquette for Depop? This guy doesn't have the pick up in person option available on his item but we live in the same city and I'd much rather just pay extra on the base price and not have the shipping fee so that I can get it faster and more conveniently. Would it be rude to ask him if I can just pick it up from him since we live so close even though he doesn't have that listed as a purchasing option? This is my first ever purchase on Depop and I don't know this works.
