Yes, he has good pieces, but as far as something like a home would go these seem a bit idealistic. At most I would want an 18 foot roof.
The library part I specified is very specific too. I think that the shelves mimicking walls is what gives it this open yet closed off feeling.
Libraries also tend to use a lot of brown, and their few windows give it an illusion of night, which is what inspires my perfect aesthetic.

Look up Le Corbusier, Van Der Rohe, Bauhaus, case study homes, etc. to find what you're looking for.

One thing that's overlooked a lot as a defining aspect of this style is the furniture, kitchen, etc is pushed away from the walls unlike a traditional home where all the couches, beds, etc are pushed along walls.

A dirty house is like a dirty piece of clothing. It feels less good and weights down on your psych and also social interactions.

A hosue should allow comfortable living and should be aesthetically pleasing. The most important factor is functionality though. You can live without comfort or aesthetics, but not without functionality.

Thats something i like about traditional japanese architecture. Simple, comfy, open, clean with not much shit standing around and green. This interpreted in modern would be cool.

But fuck man, I love going to university campuses, public libraries, and government ministries and departments. Those are pretty much the only places I see good architecture. Its not THE one and only big point but shouldnt be negleted. Make yourself, the people using it or the cleaning company (which are just people as well) life easier.
If all other points fit its nice if maintenance can be done quick and easy as well: Less time for it means less time for interrupting shutdown and more time for productivity or other things.

You wont put a white carpet under a dinner table just because it looks good, because it wont look that good for long. Accidents and foodstains happen.
