Obviously I'm not talking about the pieces individually but how they play together. The jacket is cropped so wearing a shirt that is longer, especially a knit piece that fits so straight, looks ridiculous. Cropped jeans look dumb with derbies unless they fit perfectly and your sock game is on point. Your outfit looks bad as a whole.

Not trying to be real harsh, dude. I should have given some suggestions instead of just hating.

The fit on the pants is not good, especially around the knees as evident by all the bunching. Try and find some better fitting slacks, maybe in moleskin.

Right now there is no point in wearing cropped pants because your bottom half is all similar shades of black. A crop is meant to show off boots or provide a visual break between the pants and shoes. If you switch the socks to another color/shade/texture the crop would be more warranted. I think it'd also look better with some ankle/moto boots.

You could try tucking in the shirt as long as the rise on the pants is high enough. That would fix the length issue and an interesting belt could provide a visual break from the all black of the outfit. I wish the shirt was a different material though. It looks like it's pilling up badly and doesn't work with the waxed cotton of the jacket.
